  • Edward Ramos, CFA
    Senior Vice President, Chief Investment Officer & Lead Portfolio Manager

    Edward Ramos joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2011 as Lead Portfolio Manager, International Equity. He is responsible for the development and implementation of the firm’s International Equity strategies. Previously, Eddie was a Portfolio Manager at MacKay Shields, responsible for managing the International Equity strategy. Before MacKay Shields, he was a Portfolio Manager and head of the Global Growth team at Morgan Stanley, focused on international and global equities. He also held the role as Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at Brown Capital Management, where he created the investment philosophy, stock selection process and portfolio construction methodology for the international equity service. Prior to Brown Capital Management, he was a Portfolio Manager at Templeton Investment Counsel. While at Templeton, Eddie managed global and international equity portfolios for institutional, high net worth and retail clients. Eddie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Lehigh University, and earned a MBA in finance, accounting and international business from the Columbia Graduate School of Business, where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation fellow. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

  • Andrew D. Ver Planck, CFA
    Senior Vice President,Chief Investment Officer & Lead Portfolio Manager

    Andrew Ver Planck joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2006. He leads the quantitative research team and is responsible for all portfolio management decisions for quantitatively managed products. Previously, he spent three years as a Senior Quantitative Analyst at Gartmore Investment Management in London where he was part of a management team responsible for long/short market-neutral hedge funds investing in Europe, Asia, and the US. In addition, he co-managed a long-only fund benchmarked to the EAFE Small Capitalization Index. Prior to Gartmore, Andrew was a Quantitative Investment Associate at Putnam Investments in Boston where he began his career in quantitative equity research. Andrew graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in operations research and industrial engineering. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

  • Carlos Garcia-Tunon, CFA
    Vice President, Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst

    Carlos Garcia-Tunon joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2011 and is a member of the International Equity portfolio management team. In addition to his portfolio management oversight of the European and Latin American geographic regions, Carlos serves as a Consumer Staples and Materials analyst for the team. Previously, Carlos spent seven years at Morgan Stanley, initially serving as a Healthcare Sector Analyst before serving as a Research Analyst and Portfolio Manager for the Global Growth Team. In addition, Carlos spent four years working at JPMorgan as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager. Carlos graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Georgetown University and earned his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation fellow. Carlos holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute and is a member of the New York Society for Security Analysts.

  • Mona Patni
    Vice President, Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst

    Mona Patni joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2002 and is responsible for the management of the quantitative equity strategies. Previously, she was with the Investment Consulting Group (ICG) of New York Life Investments. At ICG, Mona assisted in the development of a manager due diligence process in order to highlight portfolios with inconsistencies, researched and developed vendor selection criteria, and evaluated alternative asset-mixes for education funding plans. Before ICG, Mona was a Principal Consultant in the Financial Services Division at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she helped several companies in the financial services industry launch successful applications. In addition, she evaluated existing processes at several firms and made recommendations to improve them. She started her career as a Systems Analyst at Tata Unisys Ltd in Mumbai in 2001. Mona graduated from the University of Bombay with a degree in computer science engineering and earned her MBA from NYU Stern School of Business. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma honor society at NYU Stern School of Business.

    Jeremy Roethel joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2008 and is a Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst, responsible for the management of the firm’s global systematic equity strategies. His responsibilities include oversight of our global systematic strategies and research infrastructure. Jeremy has previously worked for Merrill Lynch in London and has experience as an independent investment consultant. He began his asset management career in 1999 with DuPont Capital Management, where he was responsible for international research and analytics. Jeremy earned his MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and graduated from the University of Delaware Honors Program with an Honors BS in finance and a BS in economics. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.

    Migene joined Cornerstone Capital Management Holdings LLC (including predecessor entities) in 2005 and is a Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst, responsible for the management of the firm’s global systematic equity strategies. Previously, she spent seven years as a quantitative Research Analyst in INVESCO’s Structured Products Group, where she was responsible for model development and portfolio construction of quantitative long/short market-neutral and long-only strategies. She started her career as an Analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1993, where she developed market risk models and managed risk policies and exposures for global equity and commodity products. Migene earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics in three years, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her MBA in financial engineering from the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
