Madison Square Investors LLC Names John Strohman
Scott Ohm Named Vice President of Business Development
NEW YORK – August 11, 2011 – Madison Square Investors LLC (MSI), a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Investments, today announced the appointment of John Strohman, CFA, CAIA, as director and head of Consultant Relations for the firm. He will be responsible for coordinating all of MSI's Consultant Relations activity in the U.S. and Canada.
Strohman joins MSI from Quantitative Management Associates, a subsidiary of Prudential Financial, where he was a principal and product specialist responsible for managing client & consultant relationships. Prior to that assignment, Strohman spent two years as a client portfolio manager with MSI’s predecessor organization, the Equity Investors Group of New York Life Investment Management LLC.

Strohman has been in the financial services industry since 1983, having worked in a variety of strategic positions for SEI Investments, CitiCorp., CS First Boston and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Prior to starting his professional career, John earned a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Finance from New York University. In addition to his CFA and CAIA, John also holds FINRA Series 7 & 63 registrations.
In addition, Madison Square Investors announced that Scott Ohm joined the firm in June as vice president of Marketing & Client Services from Forward Management in San Francisco where he was responsible for marketing and consultant relations. Prior to that, Ohm was a senior portfolio research specialist at American Century Investments, and he has held analyst positions with both Watson Wyatt and Callan Associates.
Ohm received his B.S. in Organizational Management from Nyack College and is currently completing his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business.
