MainStay Appoints Senior Executives to Registered Investment Advisor and Private Bank Sales Channels

Team Expansion Strengthens Foundation for Institutional Intermediary Business Growth

NEW YORK, November 04, 2015 – MainStay Investments (“MainStay”), a New York Life Company, announced today further expansion of the Institutional Intermediary Business with the hires of Lance Oman and Greg Zipoli as senior regional vice presidents. Both will lead sales efforts in the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) and Private Bank channels. Mr. Oman will cover the Western region and Mr. Zipoli will cover the North Central region.

Mr. Oman joins MainStay with over 20 years of experience in financial services. Most recently he served in relationship management and business development roles with Fidelity Investments and prior to that at Trust Company of the West. Previously, Mr. Oman worked at BlackRock as a director and iShares business development officer for the Bank Wealth Management channel. He began his career at Charles Schwab where he rose to regional director. Mr. Oman received a Bachelor of Science from California State University, Fresno. Mr. Oman is a CFA charterholder and has earned the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation.

Mr. Zipoli joins MainStay from Cedar Capital where he was a managing director and played an instrumental role in building the firm’s RIA business. Previously, he built the RIA business as a principal at State Street Global Advisors. Prior to that, Mr. Zipoli served as vice president at Fidelity Investments where he was charged with cultivating new revenue opportunities within the Midwest territory. Mr. Zipoli also worked at Boston Capital Partners and Sands Brothers & Co. in sales and business development roles. Mr. Zipoli received a Bachelor of Science from Ithaca College.
