Epoch U.S. Equity Portfolio

Investment Overview

The strategy's objective is to seek long-term capital appreciation. Portfolio managers seek to produce superior risk-adjusted returns by building a portfolio of businesses with outstanding risk/reward profiles.

Investment Process

Epoch uses a bottom-up investment process to portfolio construction, taking a long-term approach to investing and relying primarily on proprietary quantitative and qualitative fundamental research. The investment team invests in those businesses they thoroughly understand and where they have confidence in the company's management and financial strength. They seek businesses that generate free cash flow, and securities that have unrecognized potential yet possess a combination of above-average free cash flow growth and/or below-average valuation. The portfolio is subject to rigorous risk management controls to keep the investment team aware of both intended and unintended risks.
